What changed
Previous observations in this series concentrated on Coinbase-issued NVDAc, AAPLc, METAc and GOOGLc across Superform, TAU, Clearstar, Beefy and Aerodrome. The newly captured USDC/wtNVDA pool adds a parallel ST0x tokenized-equity lane on Base. This should not be read as evidence that the pool launched on 2026-09-02; rather, it is a newly discovered market that had not previously been included in this watch. In the DeFi Terminal snapshot, roughly two-thirds of the displayed APY came from base yield associated with pool trading economics rather than token rewards, making the displayed composition more fee-heavy than many of the Coinbase cAsset Aerodrome pools recently observed in this series.
Why it matters
Tokenized-stock activity on Base is extending beyond the Coinbase B20 stack into a separate ST0x issuer ecosystem with liquidity, yield and broader composability. ST0x describes wtNVDA as a Base vault wrapper around tokenized NVIDIA exposure. Public vvveity documentation also shows ST0x stock tokens being used as quote assets for stock-paired launches, and states that wtCOIN, wtMSTR and wtSPYM can be used as collateral on Euler and can earn HYDX rewards on Hydrex. Together, these markets point to a parallel tokenized-equity stack in which equity-linked assets are moving beyond passive holdings into LPs, quote assets and collateral. The USDC/wtNVDA pool itself remains small, however, at roughly $30,000 in TVL.
Evidence
- DeFi Terminal — USDC-WTNVDA Aerodrome Slipstream — A snapshot close to the observation time showed the Base Aerodrome Slipstream USDC-WTNVDA pool at 86.26% APY, with 57.65% base yield, 28.61% reward yield and about $31,800 in TVL.
- DefiLlama — wtNVDA RWA dashboard — DefiLlama's wtNVDA page listed the Aerodrome Slipstream USDC-wtNVDA pool at roughly $28,642 in TVL and 131.37% APY, split between 95.24% base yield and 36.13% reward yield, materially different from the DeFi Terminal snapshot. The page identifies wtNVDA as an ST0x tokenized equity on Base.
- ST0x — Tokenized NVIDIA market — ST0x describes wtNVDA as a vault wrapper on Base that represents a claim on an asset token providing onchain price exposure to NVIDIA shares.
- vvveity documentation — Stock-Paired Launchpad — vvveity documents a Base launchpad using ST0x tokenized stocks as quote assets on Uniswap V4 and lists wtNVDA, wtCOIN, wtMSTR and wtSPYM among supported assets. It also states that wtCOIN, wtMSTR and wtSPYM can be used as collateral on Euler and can earn HYDX rewards on Hydrex.
Limitations
DeFi Terminal uses DefiLlama-sourced data, so the difference between 86.26% and 131.37% should not be treated as two independent onchain measurements; it is likely driven by refresh timing, caching or aggregation differences. APY is a variable annualization of recent swap-fee economics and AERO rewards and does not establish persistence. The USDC/wtNVDA pool has only about $30,000 in TVL, creating meaningful capacity and liquidity constraints alongside concentrated-liquidity range risk, impermanent loss, slippage, reward changes and smart-contract risk. DefiLlama notes that it could not identify a public reserve attestation for wtNVDA, while ST0x's legal structure treats token holders as contractual creditors of the issuer rather than direct shareholders. The Euler collateral and Hydrex reward references in vvveity documentation describe broader ST0x ecosystem composability and do not represent additional yield generated by the USDC/wtNVDA pool itself.
